Ubuntu Technologies’ various divisions enable turn-key security solutions allowing us to build the network that the security systems, access control and CCTV cameras need to run on, the physical network cabling layer to connect these to the network, as well as the Data Centre where these systems will run from.
Our Unified Communications division will assist with the video walls and the NOC/SOC required to run these environments. Our Infrastructure division will build the platform these solutions run on including the storage requirements to which these various feeds would need to save to, regardless of whether it is for short or long-term retention purposes.
Our Telecommunications division will enable remote access to sites via secure and stable Layer 2 Fibre Optic Links and carrier grade Microwave technologies for those hard to reach areas where other telecom platforms are not viable or even available.
In short, security is no longer a simple solution that requires one type of skill but a complex IP based offering requiring a large assortment of skills and experience, a solution where you want to have one point of accountability that is able to assist in all these areas and which will be able to support them later without needing to involve various parties from different suppliers.
